BJP leader Dr. Rajneesh Singh has filed a petition in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court regarding the opening of 22 rooms of the Taj Mahal. After the petition was filed, people are curious about the mystery of these 22 rooms. If the petition is accepted and these 22 rooms are opened in future, will there be any mystery which will be shocking from these rooms?

Historian Rajkishore Sharma Raje spoke to Dainik Bhaskar about this. They believe that if these rooms are opened, then some shocking facts will definitely emerge. At the same time, a petition for videography of the closed part of the Taj Mahal is pending in the court of Agra for a long time.

There are two steps on the jasmine floor to go down in the basement towards Yamuna shore. They have been closed by putting an iron net over them. From 40 to 45 years ago, the way down the stairs was open. At the same time, the last time these rooms were opened 88 years ago in 1934.

After this, in 2015, some rooms were secretly opened for repair work. However, in the last 88 years, these rooms have not been open to the public. They believe that if these rooms are opened and their fair investigation is done, then some new mystery can be revealed.

Controversy arose over PN Oak’s book
The controversy over the Taj Mahal or Tejo Mahalaya began after historian PN Oak’s book “True Story of the Taj”. Historian Rajkumar says that Oak had made several claims in his book about the Taj Mahal being a Shiva temple. Jai Singh’s edicts were cited as an example of architecture.In addition, many figures of Ganesha, lotus flowers and snake-shaped were seen in the Taj Mahal.

Record of being associated with Raja Man Singh
Apart from this, the record of the Taj Mahal being associated with Raja Man Singh is in the City Palace Museum in Jaipur. It is mentioned that in exchange for the mansion of Raja Man Singh, Shah Jahan had given four havelis to Raja Jai ​​Singh. This decree is dated 16 December 1633. In this there is a mention of giving havelis of Raja Bhagwan Das, haveli of Raja Madho Singh, haveli of Rupsi Bairagi and Chand Singh son of Suraj Singh. Apart from this, it is mentioned in the decree of Shah Jahan that he had ordered marble from Jai Singh, as much marble was ordered, the Taj Mahal could not be built.

In 2015, advocate Rajesh Kulshrestha, appearing for Harishankar Jain of Lucknow and others, filed a petition in the civil court to declare the Taj Mahal as Lord Shri Agreeshwar Mahadev Nagnatheshwar Virajman Tejo Mahalaya Temple. Its basis was attributed to the inscription of King Parmardidev found at Bateshwar. In 2017, the Central Government and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), while filing a counter-claim, denied that there was any temple or Shivling in the Taj Mahal or to consider it as Tejo Mahalaya.

Thereafter, the district judge dismissed the petition. Later a petition for revision was filed. The petition related to videography of the closed parts of the Taj Mahal is still pending with ADJ V.
