At least two people were injured when a two-storey building collapsed in northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri area on Saturday. The injured were taken to the hospital.
According to officials, the fire department received information about a building collapse at an auto market in Nand Nagri at around 1.30 pm, following which six fire tenders were sent to the spot.
The two-storey building with shops on the ground floor collapsed. Four people are feared trapped under the rubble. One person was pulled out by the public and the other by Delhi Fire Service officials. DFS, Director, Atul Garg said that he was taken to the hospital.
Officials said that the search operation is still on and detailed information is awaited.
