1.1 lakh CUET-UG candidates to take exam on final day today – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Other than those whose exams were cancelled due to technical glitches or centre issues, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has allotted Tuesday to around 30,000 candidates to take the exam for reasons such as clash of dates with other tests, requests for addition of subjects, date change due to health reason, city change for personal reasons and natural calamity. On the final day of the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) on Tuesday, over 1.1 lakh candidates will take the exam.
The exam started on July 15 and ran into rough weather in the two subsequent phases of this six-phase undergraduate admission test for 92 universities due to technical issues and because some centres failed security protocols, including suspected sabotage.
According to NTA in the five phases of CUET-UG 2022 the test is over for around 12.04 lakh candidates. A total of 15 lakh candidates had registered for the test.
As per data accessed by the TOI for the last day of phase six scheduled to be held on August 30, 2022, while around 80,000 candidates will be writing the test due to cancellation of the exam in earlier phases, NTA has also accepted requests for 1,250 cases for change of dates due to clash of exams.
