CM Rise School has been started in Madhya Pradesh so that they can become the best example of educational institution, but the case is a bit different in Bhopal. Here, two teachers were found offering Namaz on Tuesday afternoon at the first model CM Rise Rashidiya School of MP located in Jahangirabad. That too in class. These two teachers first took the children out of the class, then read Namaz. This happens everyday here. Whereas, children were found studying in the rest of the class.

Some other teachers of the school also told on the condition of anonymity that children also offer Namaz here on Fridays, everyone knows about it, but no one says anything. When Principal KD Srivastava was asked in the matter, he said – I do not know about it. Nor have I ever come across any such activity.

Kanungo said – will send notice
Although there are no clear instructions from the government regarding such religious activities, but prayers etc. cannot be performed in the premises or class while on duty. In the matter, Priyanka Kanungo, chairman of the National Child Rights Protection Commission, says that it is legally wrong to do religious activities in the class. If this is happening, we will take cognizance. Will send notice.

the law says

Senior High Court advocate Pankaj Dubey told that no such work should be done on government building or government property, which promotes any particular religion. Such activities should be avoided. This affects the sovereignty, integrity and secularism of the country, which is contrary to the provisions of the Constitution. This is against the general code of conduct.
