A female passenger died on the last day in a Spice Jet flight coming from Patna to Amritsar. The woman’s health deteriorated after takeoff. The plane had to make an emergency landing. Meanwhile, the woman died. The dead body was handed over to the family members after paperwork on Saturday evening.
According to the information received, Spice Jet’s flight number SG-2942 had taken off for Amritsar from Patna in the afternoon. After some time, the health of Sarbjit Kaur (59), a resident of Tarn Taran, who was aboard the plane, deteriorated. Crew-members were informed about this. Before the crew members could do anything, the woman died.

The crew-members informed the ground staff that the woman had started feeling short of breath, restless and dizzy. Tried to give first aid in the plane, but did not get any relief. Finally the pilot contacted the ATC of the nearest airport Babatpur Varanasi and made an emergency landing.
