On Sunday night, a woman living in Sector-51 along with 12 members of her family had gone to have dinner at Duty Free restaurant in Sector-75. After eating the bill came 12 thousand. The woman gave Amazon’s 50% discount coupon to the waiter. After giving the discount, the waiter put the bill on the table after applying service tax of Rs 970. This was opposed by the woman and her family members.
When the family members objected to the bill saying it was wrong, they got into an argument with the restaurant staff and clashed with each other.
Manager said- give discount and don’t take service tax
The family who came for dinner said that they will not pay service tax. After this, an argument started between the waiter and the family members of the woman regarding the service tax. Seeing the dispute increasing, the hotel manager also reached near the table.
The manager asked the family members of the woman to give a discount and not charge service tax. This cannot happen. On this matter, a scuffle started on both the sides. Six people from both the sides have received minor injuries.
