Captain Nidesh Singh was martyred during a grenade drill in Jammu. Captain Nidesh was a resident of village Nandgaon in Bhiwani. His body will be brought to the village at around 11 am on Tuesday. Final farewell will be given with national honors.
Nidesh was the only brother of 2 sisters. His elder sister is a doctor in the Air Force. The same father has also retired from the post of Subedar Major.
Joined Army through NDA
Captain Nidesh Singh, born in village Nand village on 26 September 1998, joined the army on 12 December 2020 through NDA. His father Diwan Singh is retired from the Army as a Subedar Major. And mother Manoj Yadav is a housewife. Shaheed Nidesh was the brother of two sisters. Elder sister Manisha Yadav is a doctor in the Airforce. Younger sister Alka Yadav is working as Managing Director in a private company in Delhi. There is an atmosphere of sadness among the people of the village and the district on the martyrdom of Captain.
Martyrdom at the age of 24
Mahesh Chauhan, Bhiwani District President of Ex-Servicemen Association, said that Captain Nidesh Singh was martyred at the age of just 24. He told that the director was not even married yet. He told that the director was posted with Unit 18 Sikhlai Infantry. Today on Monday, during the grenade drill, the grenade exploded and Bhiwani’s Lal Captain Nidesh Singh was martyred. His mortal remains will be taken from Bhiwani to village Nandgaon.
