In Meerut, a market student was stabbed to death in broad daylight. The reason behind the murder is said to be love affair. The name of the student who died is Karthik. On getting information about the incident, a large number of students reached and created ruckus. As soon as the information was received, a heavy police force including SP City reached the spot. Efforts are being made to pacify the angry students. The incident took place near Somdutt Bihar BDS School in Medical Police Station area.
The police would have caught the accused student and taken him away.
The deceased Kartik Bhadana was a resident of Phaphunda village. Her father Sanjay Bhadana is a farmer by profession. His family has been living here in Shastri Nagar, Meerut for some time now. Karthik was studying in college.
Karthik was going somewhere on Wednesday evening. Only then a group of other students also reached there. They beat up Karthik. After this there was fierce fighting from both the sides. Then a group of students together attacked Karthik with a knife. A young man named Tarun ran after Karthik and stabbed him. In this he was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital, where Karthik succumbed to his injuries.

There is also anger among the students of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) due to the murder of the student. A large number of students reached the spot. CCSU students present on the spot told that the deceased Karthik was friends with a girl. There was a dispute between the two sides regarding this matter. At present, the police is probing the matter by scanning the CCTV footage. At the same time, the accused have absconded after the incident.

Police detained a young man SP City Piyush Singh says that Karthik Bhadana had gone out with friends to attend the engagement of one of his relatives. To pick up one of their friends, these people went to Jagrati Bihar’s BDS school. They had an argument with the boys already present there and then had a fight. Meanwhile, a boy named Tarun stabbed Karthik and he died. Police is interrogating a boy in custody.

People tried to free the youth from the custody of the police. At the same time, the young man was attacked with sticks. The angry mob pounced on the young man in front of the police. However, somehow the police took the young man into custody and took him to the medical station by sitting in a jeep.
The boys who reached the spot told that Karthik and Tarun had a fight earlier also, but then the matter was settled. On Wednesday, the quarrel increased so much that Tarun killed Karthik.
