Where does the water in Yamuna come from
There are two barrages on Yamuna. One at Dakpathar in Dehradun and the other at Hathini Kund in Yamunanagar, upstream of Delhi. There is no dam here. Whenever there is heavy rain in Himachal, Haryana, the water level of Yamuna rises.

Its effect is felt in Delhi. This was the reason that the water level of Yamuna in Delhi was 203 meters at 11 am on Sunday, which increased to 208.53 meters on Thursday.
