Nadabet, located on the Indo-Pak border in Gujarat, received torrential rains along with strong winds on Thursday night due to Cyclone Biparjoy. Due to this, the desert of Kutch has been flooded for the first time. Solar panels installed at Nadabet tourist spot have fallen. The wind is still blowing here at a speed of 90-100 kmph. It is still raining intermittently in Nadabet.

The Umiya dam near Sidsar village has overflowed due to flooding of several local rivers in Jamnagar district. For this, an alert has been issued around the dam. A gate of this dam was opened in the morning. After this, people of Hariyasan, Charelia, Kharchia, Rajpara, Rabarika and Jar villages of Upleta taluka have been instructed to be careful.

The impact of cyclone Biparjoy is visible everywhere in the villages of Danta taluka. It started raining at Yatradham Ambaji from 8 pm with strong winds, which is still continuing intermittently. Devotees have been advised to take precautions due to water-logging in the areas around the Ambaji temple. Vehicular movement has been stopped on many roads due to overflow.

Heavy rains are continuing in many tehsils of Patan district. Many areas of Santalpur taluka have been waterlogged. Trees and electric poles have fallen, casting a dark shadow over the area. Dozens of kutcha houses have collapsed due to strong wind and rain. There has also been heavy destruction in Radhanpur and Daldi villages.

Gondal, Jetpur, Upleta and other areas of Rajkot city and district are also receiving rains with strong winds since late night. Due to this, there has been waterlogging in many places. There is a sight like flowing rivers on the roads. Due to the overflow of Popatpara drain in Rajkot city, the low-lying areas have been flooded. Many areas including Railnagar have lost contact with the city.

Due to power failure and water logging in the villages, huge problems have arisen for the people. Many villages have lost contact with Banaskantha due to the overflow of rivers.
