Around 6.30: According to media reports, Atiq and Ashraf were interrogated by STF and UP ATS officials at Dhumanganj police station at around 6.30 pm on Saturday. Then around 8.30 am, under police protection, both the brothers were taken to Kasari-Masari forest to recover the arms and cartridges used in the Umesh Pal murder case. Two pistols were recovered from the spot, one of them is an American pistol. Along with this, the police also found more than 55 cartridges.

After the recovery of the weapon, the police team left for Colvin Hospital with both of them. So that before taking both of them to the police station again, their medical examination is done.

Atiq and Ashraf were brought down from the car after reaching Colvin Hospital.

Late night at 10.29: The police convoy reached Colvin Hospital with Atiq and Ashraf. There both the brothers got down from the police vehicle. Both their hands were tied with the same handcuffs. Both were surrounded by the police. Then the media started asking questions.

Late night at 10.30: At first both the brothers remained silent. Then when it was asked why didn’t both of you go to Asad’s funeral? Then Atik replied- ‘If you didn’t take it, you didn’t go.’ He became silent after saying this.

After Atiq’s answer, both became silent for some time.

Then an attacker came close to both the brothers. The first bullet hit Atik. The second bullet hit Ashraf’s chest.

Late night at 10.35:Ashraf just said this much – The main thing is that Guddu is Muslim… That’s why an attacker shot Atiq in the temple.

There was chaos on the spot. In the visuals that have come to the fore, it is seen that by the time the police understood something, one of the three youths came forward and raised both hands in surrender. Then another young man appears. A policeman present there nabs both of them.

Firing was done on Atiq-Ashraf from three sides.

One of the attackers was caught by the policemen.

Then the policemen caught him by dropping him on the ground.

Video camera and mic ID have also been recovered from the spot. It is being said that it belongs to the attackers.

At last the policemen arrested all the three attackers. At the same time, Atiq and Ashraf were taken to the hospital by the policemen.
