Actors Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed have wrapped up the shooting of their upcoming untitled OTT project directed by critically acclaimed director Aseem Abbasi. A picture of the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actor from the wrap up of the film is doing the rounds on social media. Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed are reuniting after eight years of their hit show. The upcoming yet titled web show will be streamed on ZEE5. Abbasi had earlier directed Zindagi’s first original ‘Churails’. He shared an interesting story from the sets as they wrap up the shoot on Zindagi’s official Instagram page. He wrote, “While we have spent several crucial days shooting for the series, the last day of shoot was particularly action packed. I remember the car we were supposed to shoot with was not working, so we decided to go ahead with it. Used his personal car instead. During the shot, Fawad actually had to burn rubber as he had to take a U-turn on a single lane road. It was a perfect shot but now I need new tyres!”

According to an earlier statement, the show fuses together magical realism and supernatural fantasy within a family reunion setting and deals with themes of love, loss and reconciliation.

In the series, Fawad will be seen playing the role of a single parent – ​​charming but haunted by guilt for what he has lost. With his son, he tries to be every father who was and was not his own father. Sanam is playing the role of the central lady in the show.

Excited about the project, Fawad, who is also known for his Bollywood films like ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, said, “I think life takes bold and brave decisions when it comes to storytelling. naturally evolving into a platform that encourages diversity of opinion and inclusivity for all filmmakers and content ranging from everyday mainstream to avant-garde and noir. I think There is a place for everyone in this artistic landscape.”

Sanam had earlier expressed his enthusiasm about this series in a statement as well. “I am thrilled to be working again with one of my favorite directors Asim Abbasi again, this time for Zindagi. This new project begins on an imaginary journey with some stunning performances by a very carefully chosen cast. I can’t wait for everyone to see the magic that has been created in this beautiful confined land,” Sanam said.
