YouTube is making content discovery easier with this new feature – Times of India

YouTube is getting a new feature to make content discovery faster and better for users on both the desktop and mobile apps. YouTube has announced a new section on the YouTube homepage – ‘New to You’ – for the web versions of both the service and the app.
As mentioned, the new feature is rolling out in both desktop or app versions, so whether you’re using a PC or a smartphone, the feature will be available to you.
We have checked that this feature is now available on both the desktop versions as well as the YouTube mobile app.
New to you is basically a tab hidden in the Content Search section at the top, along with all the other relevant tags like – Mix, Music, Trailer, etc. Which you can find by simply scrolling the subjects sideways.
However, Google has made it even simpler and if you’re on a smartphone, the ‘New for You’ tab is available on the homepage of the app with a simple refresh. Open the YouTube app to see the option and drag it down from the top to refresh the page. Users can also see a ‘new to you’ prompt as they scroll through the feed. Along with refreshing the homepage, the same tab will be available on the desktop page as well.
As far as the New To You feature is concerned, it is a personalized tab based on the users interest and suggests the latest content based on that and also requires users to sign in using their account. Is.
If this feature is not available to you at the moment, it may take some time as this is a phased rollout.
