Patna: A 24-year-old youth was found dead in a drain near Masauri in Badi Hills area of the district. Patna City Sunday Morning. He was missing from his house on Badi Pahari since February 25.
His body was recovered during the ongoing desilting work in Yogipur the drain by the sweepers Patna Municipal Corporation ,PMC,
The deceased has been identified as son Avnish Kumar. Ajit Kumar, Her father had lodged a missing complaint at Agamkuan police station on February 26. During investigation, Avneesh’s motorcycle was recovered on February 26 near Gate No. 3 of Transport Nagar.
The family members alleged that someone killed Avneesh and threw the body in the drain, SHO Abhijeet Kumar told TOI. “In the preliminary investigation, no injury marks were found on his body. A case has been registered against unknown people on the complaint of the family members. Avneesh’s parents alleged that the boy was killed by his relatives over a land dispute,” the SHO said.
