Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Said on Sunday that the four-and-a-half years of his government in the state was a “memorable” tenure which was dedicated to good governance.
Addressing a press conference here on the occasion, Adityanath said that his government has hit the root of the mafia and paved the way for a safe and secure state.
“We put criminals in jail, confiscated their properties and in the last four-and-a-half years there was not a single communal riot in Uttar Pradesh. Our priority was the safety of women and we set up anti-Romeo squads, pink booths. launched the third phase of women and Mission Shakti To empower women on all fronts,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that while the previous governments built houses for themselves, his government built houses for the poor.
“We have a sense of stability in the state administration unlike the previous government, which had turned transfers into an industry. We encouraged officials to do better work and be more responsive to the public.”
He said that his government had given employment to 4.5 lakh youth and established a transparent system for this, due to which the state moved ahead on the platform of ease of doing business and investment started coming in.
Referring to the achievements of his government, the Chief Minister said that the state had hosted Kumbh Mela, Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Rangotsav in Mathura, Investors’ Summit and the Chauri Chaura Utsav and won accolades for the impeccable arrangements.
Referring to the Ram temple, he said that it is a matter of good fortune that the construction of the temple started during his tenure.
“Those who kept taunting us about the date of construction of the temple, finally got the answer when ‘bhumi The puja was performed by the Prime Minister in August last year.”
Adityanath said that his government has developed religious places as tourist places.
“We implemented national education policy And also gave a network of expressways to the state.”
The Chief Minister said that the state’s model of Covid management has been accepted not only in the country but also at the world level.
“We have managed to control the virus in the country with maximum testing and maximum vaccination,” he said.
He thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi And to the central leadership of the BJP for their guidance and to the state organization and media to take the achievements of their government to the people.
