Yami Gautam’s fan named her niece after her
Bollywood actress Yami Gautam on Tuesday shared the cutest picture of her six-month-old baby in her arms. Taking to his Instagram story, the ‘Vicky Donor’ star posted a picture with baby Yami, the niece of the actor’s huge fan Atul Sureka. Reportedly, Atul, a lawyer from Kolkata, has been a fan of Yami since his debut film ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012). Atul has also got Yami’s name tattooed on his hand.
“Holding the cutest six month old Yami in my arms. Overwhelmed by the feeling of naming my niece after me @surehatul22. It was great meeting baby Yami and your family. Fans and nice like you Blessed to have people. Lots of love and respect,” wrote Yami along with the cute picture.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Yami has several films in the pipeline which include ‘A Third’, ‘Bhoot Police’, ‘Lost’ and ‘Daasvi’. He recently wrapped up the shooting of his film ‘A Thursday’. He wrote, “It’s never me… It’s always a WE with the best teams. Saying goodbye to the most beautiful team and taking back some fond memories from the sets of #AThursday.”
Along with a small heartfelt note, Yami posted a clip of her BTS moments from the sets of ‘A Thursday’.
‘A Thursday’ revolves around play school teacher Naina Jaiswal (played by Yami), who takes 16 children hostage. Actors Dimple Kapadia, Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni are also a part of the Behzad Khambata directorial. Probably produced by RSVP and Blue Monkey Films, ‘A Thursday’ will get a digital release.
Recently, he announced the film Lost, which will be directed by renowned filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury of Pink. Roy Chowdhury said, “‘Lost’ is an emotional thriller that represents a higher pursuit, an exploration of the lost values of empathy and integrity.”
Yami will lead the cast of the film as a crime reporter. Other cast includes Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neel Bhoopalam, Piya Bajpai and Tushar Pandey.
