Xiaomi 12 Pro to Oppo F21 Pro: Smartphones expected to launch in India in April

New Delhi: After launching over 20 smartphones in the country in March, the April launch has begun with the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy M33. This month will also see many launches from other smartphone OEMs like Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, Redmi and others. Several smartphone makers have publicly teased their upcoming models and this makes it more likely that the models will launch in India soon.

When it comes to flagship smartphone launches, Xiaomi and rival Realme will unveil their devices in April and mid-range handsets from Samsung, Vivo, Poco and Redmi are also likely to launch their devices this month. We have compiled a list of smartphones expected to launch in the country in April.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

According to the official teaser from the handset maker, Xiaomi’s flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled in the country on April 12 at 12 noon. The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s debut in India came shortly after its launch in China. The flagships will take on the likes of Xiaomi 12 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series, and the Apple iPhone 13 line, among others.

Oppo F21 Pro

Oppo will refresh its F line with the F21 Pro series in India on April 12. The F21 Pro lineup will only include the 4G Oppo F21 Pro and Oppo F21 Pro 5G models. According to leaks and rumours, the F21 Pro 5G will be a rebadged Oppo Reno 7 4G that was unveiled in Indonesia sometime back.

realme gt 2 pro

Realme’s first “true” flagship, the GT 2 Pro, will be unveiled in India on April 7. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the Realme GT 2 Pro is priced at €749 globally. The price of Realme GT 2 Pro in India is likely to be under Rs. 60,000.

Motorola Edge 30

Spotted on multiple certifications so far, the Motorola Edge 30 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G chip and 8GB of RAM is likely to launch in India this month. It will succeed last year’s Motorola Edge 20.

redmi 10 prime+ 5g

The Redmi Prime+ 5G smartphone is expected to launch in the country later this month. This is likely a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G that was unveiled in China sometime back. It could come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 5,000mAh battery in India.
