WWE announced Tuesday that Scott Hall, also known as Razor Ramon, has died at the age of 63. Reportedly, Hall broke his hip last month and had serious health complications during the surgery.

He suffered three heart attacks on Monday and died a day later.

“WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans,” tweeted WWE.

Monday Hall friend Kevin Nash opened up about his health on Instagram. According to Nash’s Instagram post, which was later deleted, he was on life support.

“Scott is on life support. Once he has a family they’ll be off life support. I’m going to lose a person on this planet I’ve spent most of my life with someone else. I’m heartbroken And I’m so sad. I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to live my life without him in the present. I’ve found a friend who took me at face value and I him. When we Jumped WCW We didn’t care who liked or hated us. We had each other and with the instinctive Barry Bloom we turned wrestling into material and paid for those…… A lot that we disliked. We were “outsiders” but we had each other. Scott always felt he didn’t deserve the afterlife. God please get some gold plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was his was rich with life. He was not perfect, but as he always said “the last perfect man to walk the planet he nailed a cross” as we prepare for life without him. I just remember that a great person goes you are not going to see another like him again. See ya down the road scott. I can’t love a person more than you,” he wrote on Instagram.

According to the New York Post, Hall had hip replacement surgery last week. He suffered a serious complication due to a blood clot. He was admitted to Wellstar Kinestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia

Scott Hall is an influential name in the history of professional wrestling. Nicknamed the “Bad Guy”, Hall was twice inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Fans, followers and friends have expressed grief over the death of his icon.

“He’s gone,” tweeted his friend Sean Waltman.
