21 August is celebrated as World Senior Citizen Day to acknowledge the contribution of elders in the society as it only adds to their inclusiveness in the society and development. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about issues affecting the elderly. From aging to elder abuse, each problem is extensively discussed, experiences are shared, and possibly some solutions are offered.
