Bangladesh have given top-order batsman Zakir Hasan a maiden call-up for the first Test against India starting here on December 14.
The decision to include Hasan in the squad has been taken as veteran Tamim is yet to recover from a groin injury.
Hasan was named player of the match in the first unofficial Test against India A and was the highest run-scorer in the first-class competition.
