With 192 new cases of the highly transmissible Covid variant Omicron being detected in the last 24 hours, India’s Omicron tally rose to 1,892 on Tuesday.
In the last 24 hours, 127 omicron infected people have been discharged, so far a total of 766 people have recovered from the new strain.
With this new version, Maharashtra and Delhi remain the most affected states.
