New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Kashi Vishwanath Dham project A survey by ABP-CVoter has shown that the BJP will gain “much” in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Over 52 per cent of the respondents felt that the inauguration of the corridor connecting the Vishwanath temple to the ghats of the Ganges would benefit the BJP “a lot”. Around 20 per cent of the respondents said that it would help the saffron party marginally while 27 per cent said that it would not bring any benefit.

When asked whether PM Modi’s two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi would create an atmosphere in favor of the BJP in the upcoming elections, 56.7 per cent of the respondents replied in the affirmative. Around 43.3 per cent of the respondents who participated in the ABP-CVoter survey said that the PM’s visit will not have any impact.

If the predictions of the December survey turn out to be correct, Yogi Adityanath will become the first chief minister of the state to complete two consecutive terms.

According to the survey, the Samajwadi Party (SP), which has tied up with Jayant Choudhary’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RLD), will triple its tally of seats and come second with 151-163 seats.
