Why Mallika Sherwat was not a part of Welcome Back: ‘The director will cast his girlfriend’

Actress Mallika Sherwat, who is all set to make her OTT debut with MX Players Nakaab, claimed that the ‘only reason’ not to be a part of the film Welcome Back was because the director wanted to cast his girlfriend in the sequel.

While talking to Pinkvilla, the actress said, “Welcome sequel banega toh director will cast his girlfriend in it. Welcome 2 bana toh mein apne girlfriend ko dal diya tell me ab kya karoon (If welcome sequel is made, the director will cast his girlfriend only.
