RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday the Gyanvapi dispute There are some issues of faith involved and the court’s decision on that should be accepted by all, but at the same time there was no need to find ‘Shivling’ in every mosque and start a new dispute every day.

“Why escalate the fight? Why do you find ‘Shivling’ in every mosque?” asked Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the concluding ceremony of the third year officer training camp of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Nagpur.

He said the RSS has already made it clear that its participation in the Ayodhya movement is an exception. “On November 9, we said that for historical reasons, we joined the Ram Janmabhoomi campaign and we completed it. Now we don’t want to lead any movement.”

Talking on the Gyanvapi Masjid case, Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘Now the Gyanvapi Masjid case is going on. History is what we cannot change. We did not write that history, neither Hindus nor present-day Muslims. This happened in the past. ,

He further said, “When Islam came, to break the morale of Indians, thousands of temples were destroyed”.

“This is also a puja (namaz). They are the descendants of our ancestors. We are not against any kind of worship.

The RSS chief said that all those involved in the Gyanvapi Masjid case should sit together and find a way out with mutual consent.

“But as is not the case every time and people approach the courts, the court’s decision should be accepted and not questioned,” Bhagwat said.
