The White House has formally halted an effort by former US President Donald Trump to withhold documents from Congress related to the January 6 attack on the Capitol, NBC News reported on Friday.
White House counsel Dana Remus on January 6 rejected an attempt by Trump’s lawyers to withhold documents requested by the House Select Committee regarding the activities of the then-president, the report added, citing a letter to the National Archives .
