WhatsApp’s new feature will make it easier for you to shop – Times of India

WhatsApp has reportedly started rolling out a new feature called ‘Collections’. This feature will allow you to buy items from the messaging platform using categories. In simple words, this feature allows business account holders to organize the products in their catalog by category so that users can easily find the desired item without having to scroll through the long list of items.
if you have a whatsapp business account, you can create an archive by following these steps. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the app > Tap on Business Tools > Select Catalog > Tap on Add New Collection.
The ‘Catalogs’ feature was first introduced by the company in 2019. It allows businesses to showcase the products and services they offer to potential customers. This feature enables businesses to have a mobile storefront without creating a separate web page. To further boost e-commerce on the platform, the company released the ‘Carts’ feature, which makes it easier for customers to buy multiple items.
The platform has also released a new Android beta 2.21.22.3 that reportedly adds a new control bar to picture-in-picture videos. According to a report by WABetainfo, the control bar will now allow users to pause or resume the video immediately. It will also allow users to open or close full-screen mode. Currently, the control bar only works on videos that are shared from other selected platforms, but the platform will reportedly enable it for all videos.
The company is also reportedly working on new Voice Notes feature that will allow you to pause and record a voice note without needing to record another message or send one, which you may have to interrupt. As of now, you can only listen to the voice message that you recorded before sending it.
