West Bengal: Fire breaks out in factory in Howrah, 20 engines on the spot

A fire broke out at a factory in West Bengal’s Howrah district on Wednesday afternoon. He said that the fire first broke out in the factory located at New Karola under Domjur police station area at around 12.30 pm.

He said that 20 fire tenders are dousing the fire, which is yet to be brought under control. Fire officials said there were no reports of any casualties but the incident triggered panic as it was a congested area.

He said that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
