‘Welcome Prime Minister….!’: Shiv Sena MOCKS PM Narendra Modi over his Mumbai visit

Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray-led faction has hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his visit to Mumbai, saying his visit to the city is just another “campaign” for his party and not for any welfare of the state. . “Modi is visiting Mumbai for a few hours and it is being said that in these few hours he will lay the foundation of Mumbai’s bright future. But the question is, since when did the BJP start worrying about the future and fate of Mumbai? The propaganda that the Prime Minister is embodying the bright future of Mumbai is false. He is campaigning for his party, but can Shiv Sena’s saffron be removed from Mumbai?

The Shiv Sena editorial further states that Mumbai will be blessed only if no attempt is made to “plunder” the labor of Marathis. The loot of the same Mumbai. 105 martyrs built Mumbai’s future and fortune, if no attempt is made to loot it, Mumbai will be well,” the party wrote in ‘Saamana’.

Hitting out at the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government, the editorial said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has swallowed the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) like a crocodile swallows a frog.

The cut-outs of BJP leaders for the PM’s visit look bigger than the cut-outs of Balasaheb in Mumbai. It has been said in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece that why those who call themselves Balasaheb’s Shiv Sena are silent on this. “Prime Minister, inauguration of ambitious projects, Bhumi Pujan etc. programs have been organised. The BJP has decorated Mumbai with its flags to welcome the Prime Minister. But the crocodile has swallowed the frog, similarly this group has also been swallowed and the picture of the frog going into the jaws of the crocodile is visible.

The Shiv Sena further claimed that most of the development projects that the PM will inaugurate today, have been done by the Shiv Sena in the Municipal Corporation. “PM to inaugurate a super specialty hospital in Bhandup. Shiv Sena had promised regarding this hospital in its promissory note and in 2017 itself a provision of Rs 150 crore was made to complete this work. Mumbai Sewerage This project is going on for the last 10-12 years. To clear the hurdles of various permissions, the Central Pollution Control Board and the Municipal Corporation took the matter to the Supreme Court and after the order of the Supreme Court in May 2022, the tender will be done for this work. The process was completed and the ‘work order’ was given. Most of the development works that the Prime Minister is going to do Bhumi Pujan, inaugurate etc. in Mumbai were given the go-ahead when Shiv Sena was in power. The Bharatiya Janata Party may try to take credit for this work, but the public knows everything,” it claimed.

The editorial taunted, “Projects worth 2.25 lakh crores were taken away from Maharashtra. This is an economic blow to Mumbai. A morsel taken away from the unemployed youth of Maharashtra. Should it be called Mumbai-Maharashtra’s fate?” ” A gathering was planned for Prime Minister Modi’s gathering and the security wall of Mumbai University at Kalina was breached to facilitate parking of vehicles for the visitors. Controversy arose on this. The fortunes of the University of Mumbai began by breaking the walls. Every major structure in Mumbai is being battered like this. Still welcome to our Prime Minister! Yes !!”

PM Modi will reach Mumbai by evening to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth about Rs 38,800 crore in Mumbai. He will inaugurate two lines of the Mumbai Metro and also enjoy a metro ride.

To provide seamless urban mobility, he will dedicate Mumbai Metro Rail Lines 2A and 7 worth around Rs 12,600 crore to the nation. Metro Line 2A connecting Dahisar E and DN Nagar (Yellow Line) is approximately 18.6 km long, while Metro Line 7 connecting Andheri E – Dahisar E (Red Line) is approximately 16.5 km long.
