New Delhi: The Indian Embassy in Kyiv informed that the weekend curfew has been lifted in the capital city so all students should make their way to the railway stations and move towards the Western parts.
They also said that the Ukraine Railways is putting special trains for evacuations.

Prior to which the embassy issued an advisory, providing instructions to the Indian citizens on how to make their way to the railway stations. The advisory said that Indian citizens are being evacuated from Romania & Hungary.

According to instructions, when the weekend curfew is lifted, Indian citizens should move to the railway station nearby to take trains away from active conflict areas go towards Western regions. It mentioned that regular train tickets can be booked, aside from which Ukrainian Railways is operating special trains which have free tickets but are based as first come first serve or trains those trains don’t require tickets.
The schedule of these trains is on – https://www.uz.gov.ua/, The advisory also said that the digital board at the railway station had the most updated schedule and the Indian citizen should pay attention to these.
It also advised people to carry only essentials, cash and wear heavy winter clothing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, chaired a high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis. The meeting was called to coordinate the evacuation of Indian nationals with neighboring countries of Ukraine.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need of ensuring the safe return of all Indians stuck in Ukraine due to the Russian invasion. He also stressed the need to coordinate with Ukrainian neighbors in order to expedite evacuations.
This was the second high-level meeting chaired by PM Modi in the last 24 hours over Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine.
