On Saturday evening, former Union minister and sitting MP from Bathinda Harsimrat Kaur Badal took to Twitter to suggest that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may have been pickpocketed during his visit to the Golden Temple in Punjab’s Amritsar on Thursday.
The Shiromani Akali Dal leader suggested that if some things belonging to Rahul Gandhi were stolen at the holy site, it could only be done by senior Congress leaders who were with him. These include Punjab CM Channi, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu and Punjab Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
