The love of fancy cars among Bollywood stars is well documented, and actor Ranbir Kapoor is no exception.
He had a good 2023, thanks to the success of his latest film Animal, which outperformed the collections of most films released the previous year.
With fair reason, the actor appears to be celebrating his win and has gifted himself a Bentley Continental GT. The star was recently spotted on Mumbai’s streets driving his newest vehicle.
The Bentley Continental GT is a British grand tourer with two doors and four seats. It costs more than Rs 6 crore (in Mumbai, on-road). After purchasing a new-generation Range Rover in August 2023, Ranbir Kapoor has bought his second ultra-luxury vehicle in less than a year.
The actor’s garage seems to indicate that he has a taste for British wheels. Although he drives a Range Rover on a daily basis, the Bentley’s luxurious interior and powerful V8 and W12 engines make it a unique vehicle. Recently a video was shared by @manav.manglani on instagram confirming the same.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Bentley Continental GT is painted in a stunning Blue Sapphire colour. It is unclear at this time whether the actor chose customising choices, which is highly likely. The two-door model has a classic appearance with its twin headlamp design that has evolved over the years, while the rear gets jewel-themed LED tail lights, according to HT Auto.
The cabin combines traditional beauty with cutting-edge technology. The marquee British manufacturer has preserved its luxury factor by using leather upholstery and veneers to surround the cabin, as well as electrically adjustable seats and a 16-channel, 1,550-watt Bang & Olufsen surround sound system.
The luxury vehicle also includes the optional Bentley Rotating Display, which allows you to personalise the instrument console, as well as a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay. There are USB-C charging ports, a WiFi hotspot, and an app for remote access. In addition, the Continental GT has lane detection, automated parking, a night vision camera, park assist, and adaptive cruise control.
The Grand Tourer is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 542 bhp and 770 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 318 km/h.
