WATCH: IAF Shares Video Revealing Flying Prowess of Fighter Jets and Helicopters at Aero India 2023

Aero India 2023, the 14th edition of the ongoing aero show at Yelahanka, Bengaluru, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 13, 2023. The opening ceremony of the aero show saw significant participation from the Indian Air Force with several of its aircraft. During the event, the IAF showcased its flying skills with several maneuvers and formations in the sky. Now the IAF has shared a video of a flight demonstration at the event “for those who missed the show”. The video was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Indian Air Force with the caption, “For those of you who missed the flight display of the IAF at Aero India 2023.”

The video begins with the aircraft being shown in preparation for the aero show. It later moves on to show the pilots preparing and slowly demonstrating the Indian Air Force at the Aero Show.

It is to be noted that on the day of the event, the Air Force put up a spectacular show with LCA Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter Prachanda and several other indigenously made aircraft. The display was further enhanced by the Gurukul and other structures put up by the Air Force.

More than 80 countries participated in Aero India 2023. Aero India 2023 is expected to be attended by 65 CEOs from foreign and domestic OEMs as well as ministers from around 30 different countries.

The Aero India 2023 program involved over 800 defense companies, including 700 Indian companies and over 100 foreign ones. At the event, Indian MSMEs and start-ups will showcase the breadth of their country’s aerospace and defense capabilities, along with manufacturing specialized technologies.

Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Lockheed Martin, Israel Aerospace Industry, BrahMos Aerospace, Army Aviation, HC Robotics, SAAB, Safran, Rolls Royce, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL ) ), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), and BEML Limited are among the prominent exhibitors at Aero India 2023.
