Dev Deepawali will be celebrated in Varanasi on 19th November. Earlier, a three-day hot air balloon show was started from Wednesday to give impetus to tourism here. In the morning people sat in balloons and flew to a height of 1000 feet above the ground. During this, people gathered on the sand in Domri in Ramnagar area across the Ganges to see and fly hot air balloons. The tourism department has fixed a fee of Rs 500 per person for traveling in a hot air balloon.

7 pilots have come from Poland to fly the balloon. In view of security, along with the police of Ramnagar police station, personnel of Bomb Disposal Squad, Dog Squad and Fire Brigade have been deployed. Along with this, the officers of the police and administration inspected the policemen deployed in the security system and instructed them to do duty with promptness.

Teacher Amarendra Shankar Upadhyay, who came to fly in a hot air balloon from Naria, said that it was a thrilling experience.  He has traveled by plane, but going up in Kashi to see the Ganges and the Ghats was an unforgettable experience.
