In the second ODI, the New Zealand batsmen struggled badly against the Indian fast bowlers as they were unable to put up a fight when there was some assistance for the ball.
Flamboyant all-rounder Hardik Pandya also got a crucial wicket and took a brilliant catch of Devon Conway off his own ball. It was the fourth wicket of the innings as the southpaw played straight to a good length ball and was caught low by Pandya.

Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first after losing his mind in Raipur, which is hosting its first international match. India is currently leading 1-0 in the three-match series.
Rohit admitted that he forgot what exactly it was decided to do after winning the toss and said that India are playing with the same eleven from their 12-run win in Hyderabad.
“Just wanted to challenge myself in difficult conditions. It was a good test for us, knowing that the wicket would be better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us. Bracewell batted well but we bowled well in the end and Won the match.”
“There was a bit of dew during the practice sessions, but we have heard from the curators that it will not play any part on the game days. We batted first in Hyderabad, we wanted to bowl first here.”
