A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Circulation over Punjab and Haryana, which is likely to become a pre-monsoon active over West Uttar Pradesh from June 10 to 11.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be pre-monsoon activity in Punjab till June 15. The maximum temperature in the capital could drop to 41 degree Celsius till Saturday. Many parts of the district, including Valsad city, received heavy rain with strong winds on Friday midnight. Valsad taluka recorded 14 mm of rain and Kaprada taluka recorded 2 mm of rain. The Meteorological Department has indicated the onset of monsoon in Valsad district. The Valsad disaster management team has said that monsoon will knock in Saurashtra in three-four days. After this will cover the whole of Gujarat.
