Many states of the country, which are battling the scorching heat, are eagerly waiting for the monsoon these days. The Meteorological Department has given good news for many states. The Meteorological Department has said that the Southwest Monsoon is likely to advance into Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and southern parts of Andhra Pradesh in the next two days. Heavy rain has been predicted in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat from June 12 to 15.

Pre-monsoon has become active in Rajasthan. There is a possibility of good rain in different parts of the state for four days from today. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for hail fall somewhere. On the other hand, there is good news about monsoon in the country as well. Monsoon, which had stopped for the last 10 days, has again gained momentum. On Friday, the monsoon has moved beyond Goa and entered Maharashtra.

Light rain is expected in many parts of Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bengal for the next five days.

Monsoon entry in Madhya Pradesh from June 15

Monsoon knock in Bihar between 12-13 June
Conditions have started getting ready for the arrival of monsoon in the state. Good Pre-Monsoon rains are indicated in Purnia. After the monsoon stopped near Siliguri, the rain on Thursday in the northern part of the state will help the monsoon move forward. According to the Meteorological Center, the onset of monsoon in the state can happen between June 12-13.

Heavy rain has been predicted in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat from June 12 to 15.

Pre-monsoon likely to be active in UP
Meteorologists say that due to lack of strong western disturbance and continuous hot and dry westerly winds, the heat wave is increasing in the state. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to intensify into a Cyclonic Circulation over Punjab and Haryana, which is likely to become a pre-monsoon active over West Uttar Pradesh from June 10 to 11.

Pre-monsoon rains in Haryana from June 15
The people of Haryana will have to face the heat for few more days. According to the Meteorological Department, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to induce a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana, leading to intermittent pre-monsoon activity from June 18. Monsoon is likely to reach here by June 27-28.

Pre-monsoon activity in Punjab till June 15
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be pre-monsoon activity in Punjab till June 15. The maximum temperature in the capital could drop to 41 degree Celsius till Saturday. The easterly winds will bring moisture and intensify pre-monsoon activity over northwest India. Monsoon is expected to arrive by June 18.

Monsoon usually covers large parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat by June 10.

There will be rain in Gujarat from June 15
Many parts of the district, including Valsad city, received heavy rain with strong winds on Friday midnight. Valsad taluka recorded 14 mm of rain and Kaprada taluka recorded 2 mm of rain. The Meteorological Department has indicated the onset of monsoon in Valsad district. The Valsad disaster management team has said that monsoon will knock in Saurashtra in three-four days. After this will cover the whole of Gujarat.

Heavy rain forecast in Assam and Meghalaya
Jenamani said that for the next few days, heavy rain is forecast in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Assam has also experienced floods last month.

Monsoon may knock in Jammu on June 27-28
If this pace of Southwest Monsoon continues, then this year the monsoon can knock in Jammu on time. It is being estimated that this year the monsoon may reach Jammu on June 27-28. The normal date of arrival of monsoon in Jammu is also June 28.
