Temple priest also injured
The priest of the temple was also injured due to this stone pelting. The priest told that this has never happened in the history of Ranchi. The Mahavir temple has never been attacked before. After the situation worsened, Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan himself took the lead and ordered the soldiers to fire. So far the death of 2 youths has been confirmed. The deceased have been identified as Mudassar (22) and Shahil (24).

More than 25 people are reported to be injured. In this about 12 people are admitted in RIMS. At the same time, primary treatment of 10-12 people has been done in Sadar Hospital. The SSP of Ranchi, who was injured, is undergoing medical treatment.
