Now waiting for help…. Mother sold me jewellery, borrowed money to get me set foot, now hands are left

My husband had amputated one hand and one leg due to suspicion. When my troubles were not seen from my mother, she took her to Jaipur to set foot in Jaipur by selling jewelry and taking a loan. Here the free legs and hands were not right, so I asked to put a foot made of modern technology, which was costing three and a half lakhs. Somehow the mother borrowed more money. Jaipur foot has just started. Now I am practicing walking. Jaipur hand also has to be got, for that there is an expenditure of 5 lakh rupees. If I get financial assistance from the Chief Minister, I will get my hands on it. -Sangita Sisodia, Bhopal

There is hope from the government itself … do not understand whether to get treatment or to satisfy the hunger of the family

My husband’s mental condition is not good. Now I am living near my mother on rent for Rs 1500 a month. Now only minor children are being looked after. The daughter does household chores and the son goes to work. Whatever he earns, he runs the household expenses. Husband had cut my one hand and 3 fingers of the other hand. Two fingers are left, that too does not move. I do not understand whether to get myself treated or arrange food for the family. Mother and brother deliver some ration. -Kavita Dynasty, Multai
