panajiYoga guru Ramdev on Friday claimed that various films and television serials are propagating obscenity, which is affecting the youth. He was talking to reporters on the eve of a three-day yoga camp being organized at Miramar beach here. Ramdev said, “Today there are porn films and there is obscenity in films and serials everywhere. The young generation is getting influenced by such material.”
Speaking about the three-day yoga camp, Ramdev said the programs would include ‘Sanatan Sangeet Mahotsav’, which would be attended by renowned singer Kailash Kher. “I have used the word Sanatan because it contains the ethos of all our Sanatan ideology and values. It encompasses all religions including Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Siddha. Sanatan also has the basics of Islam and Christianity . Sanatan is a non-ideological. Controversial term, which has nothing to do with any specific religion or political agenda,” he said.
With the aim of linking education in Goa with the Indian Board of Education, a program involving students and teachers will be held on February 20 at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Bambolim. He claimed that the Indian education board would connect children with Indian value-based education so that they do not go astray.
