Volvo Car India marks a significant achievement as it rolls out its 10,000th Made-in-India car at its Bengaluru facility. The company commenced assembly operations in 2017, with the XC90 being the first model to be assembled and rolled out. Notably, the XC60 takes the lead in production, surpassing 4,000 units. The landmark 10,000th car to be manufactured in India is the XC40 Recharge, the company’s first pure electric offering.

Volvo Car India’s production facility is situated in Hoskote near Bengaluru, where local assembly commenced in 2017. The company now locally assembles its entire lineup in India, including models like the XC90, XC60, S90, XC40 Recharge, and the recently launched C40 Recharge.
