Kangana Ranaut is being praised for Vivek Agnihotri’s latest release The Kashmir Files. The film, based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency, is bringing audiences back to theaters like never before. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Josh, the film is on the verge of crossing Rs 100 crore at the time of reporting.

Amidst the stupendous success of the film, a new report claims that Kangana Ranaut is in talks with Vivek Agnihotri for a new project. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Vivek has approached Kangana for a film together and they have met a few times.

“Vivek Rajan Agnihotri is working on several ideas and he has discussed one of them with Kangana Ranaut. The actress has also shown keen interest in working with Vivek. The two bond well together and are like-minded. A collaboration was always around the corner. The talks are at a very early stage and once they materialise, an official announcement will be made. So far, there have been only a couple of meetings between the two,” the source told the publication.

While it remains to be seen if the talks turn out to be anything concrete, it seems that The Kashmir Files has Kangana’s backing and the team is not ending anytime soon.
