Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma Over the years, some have set major relationship goals. In an interview with Vogue India, Kohli had said that Anushka’s work in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was one of the reasons the Indian cricketer fell in love with her. Karan Johar’s 2016 directorial venture ADHM also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. Shahrukh Khan also appeared in a guest appearance in the film. Kohli said that his wife Alijeh is his all-time favorite character in ADHM.
Elaborating on their chemistry, the cricketer said, “Our relationship has always been about love and only love. We feel like we’ve known each other for centuries, not just a few years.”
A few days back, Karan posted a video on Twitter, which completed 5 years of the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Along with the video, which had short clips from the film, Karan wrote a heartfelt caption. He wrote, “Love, friendship, heartbreak and everything in between! The power of one sided love grows even stronger with all your love and passion (the power of unrequited love is stronger). He further added that the film, story, music album, cast and the entire team of ADHM are close to his heart. The director-producer concluded the post by adding the hashtag ‘5 years of ADHM’.
