Tamil star Vikram has dubbed in five languages ​​for filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s famous work “Ponniyin Selvan”. The makers unveiled a video of Vikram dubbing for the film in 5 languages ​​- Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Vikram is playing the lead role of Aditya Karikalan in the film, which is based on author Kalki’s classic Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan.

Subhaskaran’s Lyca Productions presents PS-1, jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, directed by Mani Ratnam, with music composed by AR Rahman. PS-1 is slated for a worldwide release on September 30, 2022 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Vikram has worked in Tamil films and has also worked in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi cinema. He has been honored with National Film Award and Tamil Nadu State Film Award. His other honors include the Kalaimamani Award from the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2004 and an honorary doctorate from the Popular University of Milan.

The actor made the news after he was taken to the hospital following chest discomfort. His manager Suryanarayanan had clarified that the actor had not suffered a heart attack as was being reported in a section of the media.

Taking to Twitter, Suryanarayanan wrote, “Dear fans and well wishers, Chiyaan Vikram had mild chest discomfort and is being treated. He did not suffer a heart attack as the reports falsely claim. We wish to this effect. Sad to hear the rumours.. That being said, we request you to give him and the family the privacy they need at this time.

“Our dear Chian is now doing well. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day. We hope this statement provides clarity and confidence that false rumours will be put to rest.”
