Vidya Balan gives a funny twist to the viral trend on Beyoncé’s song ‘Partition’; watch

Be it through her critically acclaimed films or her social media accounts, Vidya Balan is surely a master of the art of entertainment. Whether introducing herself into intense characters like Kahaani or giving a whirl to the viral reel trend, the actress has given us all a glimpse of her versatility from time to time. And it would not be wrong to say that her social media account is also a testament to her skills. Just like she did in her latest Instagram post. Leaving netizens in splits, Vidya tried her hand at the viral reel on Tuesday, but with a hilarious twist.

Channeling her goofy side, the actress also added a quirky touch to a sultry trend. A video has been made on the viral Beyonce song Partition and the trend asks to sit but in a sexy way. While Vidya begins the video phenomenally, she later closed with the background score breaking bones and the hilarious sound of a woman screaming. Posting the video, the Shakuntala actress jokingly wrote in the caption, “Not every trend is for you,” and ended it with a goofy face emoticon.

Sporting a casual look throughout, Vidya was seen in a casual check shirt tied in the front over a black crop top and paired it with blue denim jeans. The actress kept her curly hair open. Not only did Vidya entertain her fans and followers, but many celebrities jumped on the occasion to praise her effort. Ileana D’Cruz commented, “Bahahahaha, you are hilarious but we all know you can totally break any trend” and ended it with a fire emoticon. Dia Mirza dropped emoticons with a heart and laughing.

On the work front, Vidya was last seen in her critically acclaimed thriller Jalsa opposite Shefali Shah. Next, she will be seen in Niyyat and another untitled film, to be helmed by Top Guha Thakurta.
