VARANASI: No person tested positive for Covid-19 in Varanasi district on Thursday, even as no recovery was reported. Also, no casualty has been reported in the district due to coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
On Wednesday, three persons had tested positive for Covid-19, while one patient was declared cured. Also, no death has been reported due to corona virus infection.
According to the daily medical bulletin, the cumulative number of positive cases and recoveries in the district stood at 82,394 and 81,615 respectively. At present, there are six active cases of Kovid-19 in Varanasi.
Earlier, no new case of coronavirus infection was reported in Jaunpur district on Wednesday and no one got healthy. The number of positive cases stood at 22,577, while 22,337 patients have been cured in the district so far. At present there are five active cases of Kovid-19 in Jaunpur.
In Chandauli district also no new Covid case was registered on Wednesday. The number of positive cases and recoveries stood at 16,205 and 15,849 respectively.
