New Delhi: After a brief outage on 9 January, the services of the Unified Payment Interface (UPI), an instant payment interface designed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), were restored.
According to an update published by NPCI on social media, services were suspended due to “intermittent technical snag”.
Taking to Twitter, NPCL said, “Sorry for the inconvenience caused to #UPI users due to intermittent technical glitches. #UPI is currently operational, and we are monitoring the system closely.”
