According to Jail Superintendent Raj Kishore Singh, the attack on the deputy jailer could be the handiwork of some jail inmates, it is being investigated.
SSP Brijesh Kumar Singh inspected the spot and spoke to the Deputy Jailor. He told reporters that a case would be registered as per the complaint given by the deputy jailer. “Four police teams have been formed to nab the attackers,” the SSP said.
