Ghaziabad (UP), December 22: An illegal arms factory was busted in which some weapons were recovered and five people have been arrested, police said on Wednesday. The five accused have been identified as Aman, Noor Hasan, Salman Kurushi, Suhail Malik and Yusuf Ranghar. Three others – Abdul Salam, Haji Zulfiqar and Chand Pehelwan – managed to escape and are at large.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Akash Patel said that on Tuesday, a raid was conducted in the basement of a house located on Rawali Road in Muradnagar area of the district on the basis of a tip-off. ASP Patel said that the police have recovered 15 country-made pistols, 12 barrel pistols, two 12 bore barrels and five 32 bore magazines from them.
