Union Home Minister Amit Shah started door-to-door campaign in Kairana, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. From Kairana, BJP has fielded Mriganka Singh, daughter of late Hukum Singh, who won the seat multiple times. He also visited other ‘Hindu families’ who had to flee the northern state due to extortion threats from local criminals. The assembly elections in the state starting from February 10 will be held in seven phases.
