UP Elections 2021: ‘BJP will form government, there should be no doubt about it,’ says CM Adityanath

Lucknow: The BJP will win the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, and there should be no doubt, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said after AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s alleged remarks that the saffron party would not be allowed to form the government in the state.

The Om Prakash Rajbhar-led Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) have announced to fight the elections together.

Owaisi had reportedly said, “Inshallah, (we) will not allow Yogi (Adityanath) to become the chief minister of UP again. If our morale is high and we work hard, everything will happen. Inshallah, our effort is That BJP has not formed the government in Uttar Pradesh.”

Responding to the AIMIM chief’s statement, Adityanath said on Saturday, “Owaisi ji is a big national leader, he travels to different parts of the country for campaigning, and has his own ‘Janadhar’ (voter base). They have challenged BJP, so BJP workers accept their challenge.”

“The BJP will form the government and there should be no doubt about it,” the chief minister said.

He said the BJP’s central leadership has set a target of more than 300 assembly seats in the 2022 elections. The party will win over 300 seats, Adityanath said.
