PRAYAGRAJ: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has started its process U P Board High School and Intermediate Examination-2022 in which more than 51 lakh students expected to appear.
According to state education department officials, around 27.70 lakh students have registered for the high school ExaminationIncluding around 14,000 private candidates. Similarly, around 23.42 lakh students have registered for the Intermediate exam, of which 1.14 lakh appear as private candidates.
In terms of advance registration, 31.14 lakh students have registered for class 9 and another 26.04 lakh have registered for class 11, informed the officials.
“The last date for filling UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination-2022 examination forms online was October 19. Similarly, the last date for advance registration of class 9 and class 11 for schools affiliated to UP Board was also October 19.” UP board secretary said Divyakant Shukla.
With this important process over, the state government is now expecting to release the examination center fixation policy of class 10 and class 12 soon, according to which the exam centers will be allotted in 2022. The UP Board had already sent the proposal for this session’s examination. Officials said that the central fixation policy has been sent to the state government for approval and approval.
The number of registered examinees for the 2022 edition of the High School and Intermediate examinations has decreased by about 5 lakh as compared to the previous year. In the 2021 edition of the exam, a total of 56,03,813 candidates had registered for the board exam, which included 29,94,312 for class 12 exam and another 26,09,501 for class 10 exam.
Despite the UP Board extending the last date of registration once, the number of candidates has declined. October 16 was the last date to fill the online form for the 2022 class 12 and class 10 examinations without late fee. Forms were accepted till October 19 with a late fee of Rs 100. Earlier, the last date was October 6.
The principals of schools affiliated to the UP Board will now check the online filled forms of the registered students in the form of a prescribed checklist from October 20 to October 23. The schools will get an opportunity to rectify the wrong details in the form from October 24 to October 23. 30 October.
